The Tramex CRH measures ambient relative
humidity, temperature and dew point with an optional plug-in RH probe.
The meter measures moisture content by the non-destructive
method, relative humidity by the In-Situ method (ASTM
F2170-02) or Hood method (ASTM F2420-05) and Temperature and Dew Point in gypsum
and concrete flooring.
In moisture measuring mode, the CRH uses
the principle of electrical impedance measurement to give precise
non-destructive moisture readings in gypsum and concrete floor screeds. A low frequency signal is transmitted into the material from electrodes with special spring mounted probes on the
base of the instrument to measure the electrical impedance. This signal is processed as a percentage of moisture
reading for concrete slabs and a relative reading for gypsum screed.

In Hygrometer mode it uses a solid state capacitive
sensor Relative Humidity probe to give accurate and fast relative humidity,
temperature & dew point temperature readings.
While being easy and uncomplicated to operate, the Tramex
CRH has a powerful micro controller, which processes the information
received and accurately calculates the moisture content, relative humidity,
temperature and dew point. These readings are displayed on the clear
The high capacity non-volatile memory chip which stores
and retains its data. This information can be recalled at any time by scrolling
and reading directly from the instruments own display or downloaded to a PC for
storage and inclusion on a spread sheet or report.
