The Rugby 55 is used for:
- Ceiling grids and floor layout, raised access floors and transferring
points
- Setting window supports, cabinetry layout, interior walls,
tilt ups and setting benchmarks
- Elevation control, foundations & footing, plumb and
manual slopes
Leica Rugby 55’s scanning or stationary beam can be quickly
positioned in 90 degree by moving the beam to the right or left side of the
laser making layout easier.
The laser’s beam down mode can be engaged by selecting zero
rps with the head speed button; the rotating head then automatically positions
itself in a plumb down direction for alignment over a reference point.
The Leica Rugby 55 can be put into sleep mode for two hours
by pressing the up and down buttons on the remote simultaneously, saving
battery life without disturbing the setup.
Leica offers a 2 year warranty; register within 8 weeks
after purchase to extend the warranty.
