On September 7, 2010, New Jersey adopted the International Energy Conservation Code (2009 IECC) for low rise residential buildings (1 and 2 family dwellings & multiple family buildings 3 stories or less) as well as the 2007 ASHRAE 90.1 for all remaining buildings, both with minimal amendments, as pertains to energy conservation.
