Fluke 435-II 435 II Series II Power Quality Energy Analyzer Energy Meter

The Fluke 435-II Power Quality Energy Analyzer enables you to be prepared for any problems which may arise in your facility with its advanced power quality functionality and energy monetization capability.

The Fluke 435-II is the perfect instrument to log energy. With the Energy Loss Calculation function, the 435-II can measure monetary cost of power wasted because of bad power quality. The 435's energy monetization capability enables you to find the energy waste factors in your facility in order to determine solutions to save energy. Advanced power quality measurement along with the rest of the package provide you with a powerful troubleshooting asset.

Applications
  • Data capture with PowerWave allows quick capture of RMS values so you can analyze every waveform to determine how the frequency, current and voltage values interact
  • Power inverter efficiency
  • Energy monetization function calculates the fiscal cost of power wasted because of bad power quality
  • Energy assessments quantify before & after improvements in installation energy consumption so you can justify power saving devices
  • Frontline troubleshooting diagnoses problems quickly on screen so you can get back online
  • Predictive maintenance can detect & prevent power quality problems before they leave you with downtime
  • Long term analytics uncover difficult to see or intermittent problems
  • Load studies to verify your electrical system's capacity prior to adding a load
  • Power inverter efficiency enables the simultaneous measurements of DC input and AC output for your power electronics system using the DC clamp (optional)
  • Data capture with PowerWave allows you to capture RMS data quickly, show 1/2 cycle & waveforms so you can characterize dynamics of the electrical system (UPS switching, generator start up etc.)
  • Energy loss calculator is a classic active and reactive power measurement tool, can analyze unbalanced and harmonic power, is quantified so you can pin point your fiscal costs of wasted energy.
  • Troubleshoot in real time and analyze trends with the cursors & zoom tools.
  • Best safety rating for the entire industry: 600 Volt CAT-IV and 1000 Volt CAT-III rating for useage at service entrance.
  • Can measure all 3 phases & neutral, with 4 flexible current probes included with thin flex enhanced design fits in tight places.
  • Auto Trending allows every measurement to be automatically recorded, with no need to setup.
  • System Monitor has 10 parameters of power quality on screen in compliance with the power quality standard EN50160.
  • The logger function can configure for all test conditions with memory for a maximum of 600 parameters at intervals defined by the user.
  • See graphs & generate individual reports with the included software.
  • Battery lasts 7 hrs per charge (Li-ion battery).

PowerWave data capture
For many users, load switching can be a source of problems with power quality. During load switch on, the draw of current occassionaly may cause voltage drop to levels that cause other pieces of equipment to fail. Fluke's PowerWave function is available on the 437 and 435 Series II Analyzers allows you to capture frequency, current and voltage signal data simultaneously with high speed so you can see which interactions are causing potential problems. PowerWave goes way beyond the standard power quality measurement; the PowerWave quick capture mode allows you to characterize system dynamics.

Waveforms for current and voltage are captured continuously for a specified time & then displayed on screen with high detail; and power waveforms are derived from your data. Half cycle RMS data for current, voltage, frequency, and power can be securely stored and later retrieved for convenient analysis. This innovative feature is perfect for the testing of UPS systems and stand-by generation systems where dependable switchon is vital.

Power inverter efficiencies
Power inverters convert DC current and into AC current, and vice versa. A typical solar generation system will usually have an inverter which converts the DC energy from its solar cells into useable AC power. Most inverters can also decline in performance over time & should to be tested. By comparing output power with input power your system efficiency can be determined and evaluated. The 437 and 435 II units can measure efficiencies of inverters by the simultaneous measurment the AC and DC system power to evaluate the power loss of the conversion process
.

Fluke 434-II Series II Energy Analyzer Energy Loss Unified Power Measurement
The patented Unified Power Measurement System by Fluke (UPM) givs you the most comprehensive data of power you can get and measures
  • Unbalance Analysis
  • Detailed Loss Analysis
  • Parameters of Classical Power (Steinmetz 1897) & IEEE 1459-2000 Power
UPM calculations quantify your fiscal cost of energy waste from power quality problems. These calculations involve your facility specific information.

Fluke 434-II Series II Energy Analyzer Volts, Amps, and Hertz Display AutoTrend allows trends to be analyzed quickly
Fluke's Innovative AutoTrend provides quick insight for changes in data over time. The displayed readings are continuously and automatically recorded with no set up of interval times or threshold levels, or starting the process manually. Trends in current, voltage, frequency, power, flicker, or harmonics on all 3 phases and neutral can quickly be seen. Analyze trends with the zoom function and cursors while background recording is in progress.

With the System Monitor you can check your performance issues against the EN50160 easily
A Single button push can trigger the innovativeSystem Monitor which provides an overview of your power system's performance, & can check compliance of inbound power to the EN50160 limits, or even to your individual specifications. Overviews are shown on the screen along with bars that are color coded to clearly indicate which of your parameters fall do not fall within the limits.

Fluke 434-II Series II Energy Analyzer System Monitor

System Monitor overview screen provides instant data for harmonics, voltage, frequency, flicker, and the amount of swells and dips that fall outside the limits. Detailed lists are provided for all events not within your limits.

Fluke 434-II Series II Energy Analyzer Logger Fluke 434-II Series II Energy Analyzer Power & Energy Fluke 434-II Series II Energy Analyzer Harmonics
The Logging function enables customizeation of measurement selection & gives you immediate analysis of your selectabled parameters. Measure & record VARs, VA and power (W). The Fluke 435 has the capability for energy consumption recording. Track harmonics to the 50th, measure & record THD in compliance with  the IEC61000-4-7.
