Utilizing a unique, self diagnosing, self cleaning sensor, the testo 316 4 detects refrigerant leaks down to less than 0.1 ounce per year in less than 1 second. The flexible 14.5 inch neck allows the best positioning of the sensor close to the suspected leaky pipe or fitting. A zoom mode allows for easy pinpointing of leak sources. Compatible with the refrigerants CFC, HFC, and HCFC, the unit is certified to SAE J1627 (pending). Simply swithch sensors to convert to an ammonia leak detector (option). The standard sensor will also detect hydrogen leaks.
