The temperature and pressure curves of 30 refrigerants are stored within the unit. If more refrigerants are needed, simply download them from the Testo website and transfer to the instrument at no charge. This makes the Testo 523 Refrigeration System Analyzer extremely versatile for all systems and requirements.

Evacuation and display of the evaporation temperature of water

During the evacuation of an ac system, the integrated vacuum sensor measures both the absolute pressure and the evaporation temperature of water. The measured values provide data on whether the system is being optimally dried, which dtetrmines if the water vapor is being withdrawn from the system properly. The evacuation can be carried out much more efficiently than has been possible in the past.
