To insure proper lighting, the Testo 545 Light Meter accurately measures and quickly stores light values.
Mean calculation
The mean value can be calculated at the touch of a button from measured values (maximum 99). This is very helpful when, for instance, the mean light intensity on a table surface is to be measured.
Adapting to the human eye
Our eyes are much more sensitive to yellow and green light than to blue and red light. A special optical filter in the Testo 545 allows the unit to reconstruct the response of the human eye. A special photo diode cell converts this light into an electronic signal which can be displayed.
Mean calculation
Two mean calculation functions, timed and multi point, are available to the user, and the mean values can be saved in the memory and printed.
A special feature of testo 545 is its location management function, which can store up to 99 readings for clear identification and documentation.
Convenient data analysis
By using Comfort software, the information from the Testo 545 can be downloaded and a location list can be saved. Separately saved light intensity values can be connected to form a curve using Professional software. This light profile provides information on the
uniformity of the lighting on repro tables, paintings, halls and more.
