The Knipex CoBolt requires 60 percent less effort than conventional bolt cutters. 

Cutting a piano wire of 3/32 of an inch in diameter with the Knipex CoBolt requires hand force of only 190 Newtons  instead of 500 Newtons with a high leverage diagonal cutter of the same length.
